EU General Court Decision for AoG

PPC S.A. announces that, the General Court of the European Union has rejected on March 13th, 2018 the action for annulment of Aluminium of Greece, with which Aluminium has requested the annulment of the Decision of the European Commission dated July 13th, 2011, concerning the granting of state aid to Aluminium of Greece, for the period January 2007 until March 2008.

Following this, Aluminium of Greece (currently Mytilineos Group) has to proceed to a final payment towards PPC of a total amount of € 24.4 mln (which includes €17.4 mln plus interest), for which there has already been a settlement agreement between the two parties.
