The Athens Exchange (ATHEX), following the request of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, decided the suspension of trading of the shares of the bank PROTON BANK S.A., as of today October 10, 2011, following its decision of 9.10.2011 Ministry of Finance to establish a Transitional Credit Institution under the name "New PROTON BANK S.A." and, at the same time, the decision of the Bank of Greece to withdraw its authorization "PROTON BANK S.A.", entry into special liquidation and the appointment of a liquidator.
