The President of the Athens Exchange, having considered the new data that have resulted, following the notification of the Athens Exchange, by the Chartered Accountants Association S.A., of an extra judicial declaration, dated 29.01.2003, which the ordinary chartered auditor of the listed company CONNECTION S.A., Mr. P. Georgiadis, forwarded to it, decided the temporary suspension of trading of its shares.

More specifically, in accordance with the extra judicial declaration of the ordinary auditor that carried out the audit of the accounting reports, dated 30.06.2002, during the audit proceedings of the accounting reports dated 31.12.2002, he ascertained alterations in the data that were used for the drawing up of the accounting report of 30.06.2002.

These alterations regarded the payment of the VAT of the first semester of the fiscal year 2002, of Euro 2,023,840.19, which was never paid and corresponding alterations in the accounts ''Holdings and long-term claims of Euro 1,160,000'', ''Claims of Euro 947,448.35'', ''Cash Reserves of Euro 1,652.24'', ''Short- term liabilities of Euro 2,104,735.19'' and ''Income from sales of Euro 1,060.92''. The suspension of the trading of the shares of the company was judged necessary until the data reported in the extra judicial declaration of the regular auditor and their effect on the listed company are fully clarified.
