The President of the ATHEX BoD, Spyros J. Capralos, in agreement with the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, decided to temporarily suspend the trading of the shares of PIRAEUS BANK S.A., AGRICULTURAL BANK OF GREECE S.A. & TT HELLENIC POSTBANK S.A., as the former bank informed the Hellenic Capital Market Commission that it submitted a proposal to the Greek Government for the acquisition of significant shareholdings in the two latter banks. PIRAEUS BANK S.A. ensured the Hellenic Capital Market Commission that it will release relevant announcements during the day.
The trading of the companies' shares will be resumed after the release of the relevant announcements.
