Following its previous announcement, EMPORIKI BANK OF GREECE S.A., as Societe Anonyme, listed on the Athens Stock Exchange, announces that, according to Article 10, paragraph 1 of the Law 3340/2005, as well as to article 2, paragraph 2, of the Decision No 3/347/12.07.05, issued by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, on December 30, 2009, the procedure of transferring its participation percentages in the companies 1) Emporiki Credicom Bank S.A. (50%), 2) Emporiki Life Insurance Company S.A. (50%), and 3) Emporiki Insurance Hellenic Insurance Company S.A. (50%), was completed in total consideration for each company of 1) 24,984,000.00 euro, 2) 30,679,985.84 euro and 3) 10,440,000.00 euro to the corresponding Credit Agricole Group product factories.
Particularly, were transferred respectively to the companies: 1) Sofinco S.A., 7,200,000 shares of Emporiki Credicom Bank S.A., and 2) Credit Agricole Assurances, 1,857,142 shares of Emporiki Life Insurance Company S.A., as well as 4,500,000 shares of Emporiki Insurance Hellenic Insurance Company S.A.
