According to Law 3340/2005 and the decisions 3/347/2005 and 5/204/2000 of the Board of Directors of the Capital Market Commission, as in force and paragraphs 4.1.3.1. point e) and 4.1.3.6. of the Rule Book of the Athens Exchange, Forthnet S.A. (thereafter the "Company" or "Forthnet"), in relation to articles published today on electronic and printed press, the Company confirms that during an audit, it discovered the abuse of significant amount of money by an employee of its accounting department in synergy with her spouse. Consequently, the Company directly filled charges against the above persons for the criminal acts of counterfeiting after use and fraud while at the same time took the necessary legal actions before the civil courts for compensation of the damage suffered. In any case, the Company has already taken the necessary provisions in its published financial statements.
