New product for the Greek Ministry of Defence & new contract with the general army staff

On November 6th 2003, INTRACOM signed a contract with the Greek Ministry of Defence for the supply of digital voice, data, and fax - SECLINE a-PLUS type - digital encryption devices. The SECLINE a-PLUS encryption device constitutes a new INTRACOM product, which aims at covering the ever-increasing demands of the Greek Armed Forces for secure communications.

This device is an advanced version of the successful SECLINE PLUS encryption device, which is already in use by the Armed Forces offering better voice quality and extended capabilities of interconnection with a plethora of terminals. A great number of SECLINE PLUS devices are already utilized by the Greek Armed Forces, while, on November 6th, 2003, a new contract was signed with the Greek General Army Staff for the supply of an additional number of 103 SECLINE PLUS type encryption devices.

INTRACOM is the only Greek company that designs and develops encryption services, and currently produces the SECLINE product line, comprising of the SECLINE PLUS, SECLINE a-PLUS, SECLINE MED and SECLINE Mbit devices that cover a wide range of applications. The company has been active in the encryption area for more than ten years and has substantially invested in scientific personnel, specialized laboratories and equipment. As a result, INTRACOM encryption devices are considered to be among the most technologically advanced products of the field internationally. Recently, INTRACOM has installed and operates a TEMPEST-type laboratory of electromagnetic radiation measurements, compliant with NATO specifications, allowing for the certification of national encryption devices under NATO standards.
