PRESS RELEASE - Extraordinary General Meeting of Delta Informatics

Today's Extraordinary General Meeting of Delta Informatics decided to:a) Recall the resolutions dated 22/12/99 of the Extraordinary General Meeting due to the expiration of the time foreseen in article 11 of codified law 2190/20 as effective today, given that the prospectus of the company had not been reviewed within this period by the Board of Directors of the Athens Stock Exchange.b) Increase the Company's share capital by Drs1 billion by issuing 10 million new shares, of a nominal value of Drs100 each, at the price of Drs2500 each and at the rate of 1 new to every 6 old shares.Following the approval of the increase, the Company's equity capital amounts to Drs37 billion and the share capital amounts to Drs7 billion, divided in to Drs70 million registered shares. The company's share capital increase is taken place at the same time as the share capital increase of Singular, as part of the planned merger of the two companies.The capital raised will be used for investments and acquisitions in Greece and abroad. More specifically, Drs2 billion will be required for the upgrading of Delta Informatics' equipment, in order to continue to offer Disaster Recovery Services to Alpha Bank. Approximately Drs2 billion will be required for the upgrading of Delta Informatics' other information systems, in order to cover the company's increasing needs. Approximately Drs1 billion will be used to expand and equip Delta's new installations at Krioneri. The remaining amount will be used for acquisitions, aiming at sectors considered important to the company's international presence, as well as reinforcing the company's position in Greece.The company's results for the first quarter showed a significant increase. Total revenues reached Drs4,210 billion posting an increase of 40% in relation with the corresponding period of 1999, while profits amounted to Drs1,560 billion posting an increase of 38%.Estimates for 2000 show that revenues will exceed Drs14.2 billion and profits Drs5.8 billion.Finally, Delta Informatics contributed, once more, to the presentation of the results of the Parliamentary Elections of April 2000, continuing the tradition since 1981.Athens May 18, 2000
