Vodafone · Panafon announces new reduced fixed to mobile interconnection charges with effect from midnight on 30 June 2002.

Specifically, fixed to mobile interconnection charges will reduce by 22% to 0.21 eurocents/min from 0.27 eurocents/min, reflecting Vodafone · Panafon's commitment to customer satisfaction.

Vodafone · Panafon offers per second billing with a minimum charge for the first 60 seconds. The company does not apply any ?call set up charge? to its customers.

These new charges have been designed to offer the lowest charges in the Greek market based on the average call duration from fixed to mobile networks. Specifically, the average call duration is estimated to be over 60 seconds.

Vodafone · Panafon expects that the newly announced reductions in interconnection charges will increase usage in its network.
