Course Description

CGMA is the most widely held management accounting designation in the world. It distinguishes more than 150,000 accounting and finance professionals who have advanced proficiency in finance, operations, strategy and management.
Under this fast track program, candidates will only take the Strategic Case Study exam of the CIMA qualification and completion of the exam will allow direct entry to CIMA membership and awarding of the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation.
Ahead of sitting the exam, candidates will attend preparatory classes with StudySmart in Athens Greece

Selection Criteria
This program is open to:
- CFOs, CEOs and senior management who have previously worked in finance,
- Candidates who hold membership of a recognised professional accounting body, a finance related degree or an MBA/Masters in Accounting,
- With at least 10 years experience in finance or business functions.

CIMA will review the CV and assess for both eligibility into the program and confirmation of practical experience.
The CIMA exam should be attempted within 12 months upon registration with CIMA.

CONSTANTINE "DINO" KIRITSIS
Constantine (Dino) is one of the most versatile professionals in business operating as an entrepreneur & consultant in the Business, HR, training & development industry. He is considered a world-class inspirational professional trainer / presenter having trained and led diverse events for numerous corporations and associations. He has delivered over 15,000 hours of professional training, hosting & presentations in the last 20 years in more than 40 countries in Europe, Asia and the Middle East mainly to corporate clients.
He is founder of StudySmart.gr®, a company offering consulting, professional qualifications training seminars, workshops & information on education, educational systems and certifications. He has extensive experience in business start - ups, education and professional training & development by setting up Intercollege Globaltraining in the late 1990's (being responsible for the incorporation of ACCA & other professional qualifications in Greece and serving as a Partner & Executive Director for close to a decade), before setting up and leading one of the first academies for PwC in Greece and supporting a number of PwC Academies towards the creation of centers of excellence (COE) for professional qualifications in the CEE and the Middle East. In essence he led the quality approvals by major associations successfully receiving the highest standards on each occasion, while close to 20 of his students have been regional or global prize winners from Poland, Greece, Czech Republic, Dubai, Qatar, Bahrain demonstrating the applicability of training techniques at international level by using his flow charting methodology. He has been promoting professional qualifications and especially the ACCA throughout the world assisting with talks, presentations and writings. He has also been instrumental in assisting ACCA with rolling out the Strategic Business Leader (SBL) exam trough Train the Trainer programmes, webinars and tools (interactive flowchart for students). His recent research paper "From Degreefication to Certification" makes the case of graduates moving towards getting certified as a necessary requirement for their career paths, ACCA being the main case study. He was chosen among thousands of speakers globally to present in Atlanta and the 2017 Association for talent development conference (ATD), the largest training & development conference in the world and has been chosen to speak in Las Vegas in 2019 at the largest HR conference in the world (SHRM) on professional qualifications as a method towards career development.
He is also a consultant and International Curriculum Development expert for PwC's Academy in Serbia. Dino has also done work with PwC's Global Steering Committee for Private Company Services and has developed the curriculum, methodology and mapping procedure for PwC's very successful Mini MBA programme being offered in the CEE region & the Middle East in 12 countries.
As a mentor on select business start-ups he has donated his services to close to 10 companies through charity / entrepreneurship organizations. He is the author of an educational guide offered in Greece from 2004 to 2012 (8th edition) and has been an active speaker on entrepreneurship, innovation, educational, professional training and business development issues in over 100 events in the past decade. His knowledge areas span from Business Mapping, business analysis, Entrepreneurship, Strategy and Corporate level training to developing programmes, career management and education, Professional qualifications (PQs) and teaching topics such as Corporate Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Business Planning, Marketing and HR (for specialist qualifications (ACCA, CIA, CIMA, SHRM) and Universities (for the University of Surrey (UK), University of Strathclyde (UK), Henley Management School (UK), University of Nicosia (CY) and PwC Academies in Europe and the Middle East. Constantine has also been involved in corporate accounts training for well ? known multinational firms such as Dell, Public S.A., Mazars, Brinks Security, Amana Constructions, Abu Dhabi FSC, Piraeus Bank, Alpha Bank, Eurobank, BAT, ICAP, PwC, KPMG, Cosmos Business Systems, etc.
He also Mentors students in the Middle East opting for BSc's in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University UK. He holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut (USA), a Masters and a PhD from the University of Surrey (UK), a Diploma in Corporate Governance from the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is a Fellow RSA UK, an Associate Member (AICA) of the International Compliance Association and a Senior Certified Professional from the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM ? SMP) USA.
CHRIS RAGKAVAS
Chris is a professional qualifications tutor for ACCA, CIMA, DipIFR and a management consultant. He teaches papers related to IFRS, performance management and finance, to ACCA and CIMA candidates at all levels of the qualifications, in Europe and the Middle East. He also prepares candidates for the ACCA-DipIFR exams.
He also performs tailor made teaching sessions on IFRS, business valuations, corporate finance, and practices management consulting.
Chris is a Member of ACCA and CIMA, Master of Arts in Management - University of Bournemouth (UK), Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Finance ? Hochschule Heilbronn (Germany)
Chris is a tutor and management consultant since 2011. Before that, he has held managerial positions in international companies in the Netherlands and Greece. His employer portfolio comprise Aiwa Europe (part of the Sony Corporation), Trust International BV (Computer Products) and Cushman & Wakefield SA.
He has extensive experience in financial reporting, consolidation, management accounting and in leading teams. He has held the positions of European business unit controller and finance manager. He interacts comfortably with people from different cultures and can communicate effectively across the board to people from different academic and professional backgrounds.
