COSMOTE makes major cuts in its call termination charges
Consumers to benefit from reductions of over 17%
COSMOTE announces new lower charges for terminating calls to its network.

From 1 June 2006, COSMOTE will reduce the cost of terminating calls from fixed line networks from 14.5 eurocents per minute to 12 eurocents per minute. The minimum charge of 30 seconds will continue to apply.

Amounting to 17.2%, this reduction is the fifth consecutive decrease made by COSMOTE since 2003, period during which the company has reduced call termination charges by up to 57%.

COSMOTE's termination charges are lower than the European average, as reported in the 11th European Commission Report on Electronic Communications.

Since 2001, COSMOTE's termination charges have consistently been the lowest in the Greek mobile telephony market proving that COSMOTE offers Greek consumers the best value for money.
