VODAFONE PANAFON SA went forward yesterday (9/10/2006) with terminating our agreement, which was to conclude at the end of the current year (31.12.2006), citing the recent change in GERMANOS S.A. s shareholding structure.
GERMANOS S.A. informs the investment community that there will be no significant effects from the aforementioned event, as the terminated resale agreement was set to regularly conclude on 31/12/2006. Nevertheless, the strengthening of its cooperation both with COSMOTE, the largest mobile telephony provider in Greece with extensive presence throughout South Eastern Europe, and with the OTE Group in general, is expected to add a new dynamic to the Company.
GERMANOS remains focused on its values, which have identified and distinguished the company as a leader in the distribution of telephony products and technology in South Eastern Europe, with more than 550 exemplary stores in Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and FYROM, offering at all times the best service to customers.
