INTRALOT announces that jointly with its fully owned subsidiary Betting Company S.A. has reached an agreement with a six (6) month duration with OPAP S.A. and a starting date on January 29, 2007. Within the context of this agreement, INTRALOT will provide the infrastructure and the know-how, which are necessary for the operation of the "Pame Stihima" betting game.
Specifically, INTRALOT will provide to OPAP the infrastructure necessary to manage the risk of betting games, a system that will transmit data (teletext) to the OPAP agencies, and the Internet site that the Betting Company has to promote the games. Moreover, it will provide to OPAP the user license of the software necessary to operate and manage betting games, which OPAP organizes today on the LOTOS platform. In addition, the Betting Company will provide to OPAP''s personnel for a period of six (6) months specialized know-how through support and consulting services regarding the organization and management of betting games in Greece. The games'' risk management, the promotional costs, advertising costs and printing costs will be undertaken by OPAP as the organizer of the game.
Finally, INTRALOT will provide OPAP for six (6) months 1,500 new technology terminals, in addition to the 2,000 already provided.
The amount of the agreement is 65 million euros and includes the reasonable cost of the software user licenses and the infrastructure that supports today the operation of Betting in our country.
