In response to recent press articles, Piraeus Bank reiterates that it has acquired an investment position in Bank of Cyprus Limited shares, which forms part of its Available-for-Sale securities portfolio and represents a fraction of the share capital of Bank of Cyprus below the minimum disclosure threshold required by applicable legislation.
