HELEX's goals, strategies, perspectives and financial data were presented at the Association of Members of the Athens Stock Exchange on Wednesday, December 5th 2001.

Dr. Panayotis Alexakis, Chairman of the Board and Mr. Gikas Manalis, General Manager, focused mainly on the reorganization project of the HELEX Group, which will be discussed at the EGM on Wednesday, December 12th 2001.

The actions taken for the promotion of co-operations and alliances between the Athens Stock Exchange and other European and international exchanges were also discussed. Lastly, reference was made on the increasing competition among exchanges, which leads to their commercialization and thus to their listing on their country's exchanges.
