The company presentation made by Euromedica to the Bank of Piraeus Group on Thursday 12 October 2006 was one of a series of scheduled events designed to provide information to investors. It was organised and coordinated by the General Directorate of the Bank of Piraeus Group. Beside the General Directorate, it was attended also by high-ranking Bank executives from the Corporate Division, the Treasury Division, along with the Piraeus Stock Brokerage House, and the Piraeus Mutual Funds. Points made during the presentation:
- Euromedicas turnover for Η1 2006 was euro 77.9 million, up 16.45% over Η1 2005 (euro 66.9 million).
- EBITDA profit for Η1 2006 was euro 14.1 million, up 42.8% over Η1 2005 (euro 9.9 million).
Euromedica S.A. is the largest private health care network in Greece, with a significant geographical spread. It has a presence in 8 prefectures in Greece through its own network of 12 hospitals and 20 medical centres, and in the rest of the country through 485 collaborating doctors and 340 medical centres.
