In accordance with paragraph 9d of article 275 of the Athens Stock Exchange Regulation, Μinoan Lines S.A. announces that the regular tax audit for the fiscal years 2000 until 2005 has been completed.
Returned taxes of euro 595 thousands approximately, resulted from the audit, after the acceptance of tax differences from the company, and will be recognised in the income statement of the first half of 2006.
Minoan Lines has already appealed against tax differences in V.A.T. amount euro 350 thousands approximately, which does not accept. It is worth mentioning that Greek Administrative Courts have decided in Minoan Lines favour concerning similar tax cases of previous fiscal years.
