Non-residents of Cyprus who are shareholders of Bank of Cyprus Public Company Ltd (the Bank) are reminded that they must return to the Bank the duly completed and signed 'Questionnaire for ascertaining whether the conditions relating to the term' Non Cyprus Resident' are met for the year 2005" in order to avoid the deduction of Defence Contribution from the 2004 dividend.

Is it clarified that paragraph 9 of the Questionnaire must be completed, even if the number of days spent in Cyprus during 2005 is zero.

The Questionnaire must be received by the Bank by 27 May 2005 at the latest. In case that the Questionnaire is not submitted to the Bank by 27 May 2005, the Bank will proceed with the deduction of Defence Contribution from the 2004 dividend.
