Health & Safety in Labor Management Certification, according to ELOT 1801 ? Upgrading of the Environmental Management System Certificate, according to EN:ISO 14001:2004 from TUV HELLAS

ALUMIL announces with satisfaction that TUV Hellas, after conducting successful inspections in the establishments of the industrial complexes in Kilkis, grant ALUMIL with the Health and Safety in Work certificate, according to ELOT 1801. At the same time, ALUMIL upgraded the Environmental Management System according to EN:ISO 14001:2004, covering the fields of extrusion, powder coating, sublimination and foundry.

The Health and Safety in Work System Certificate - according to ELOT 1801 - confirms with the most robust means sensitivity and proper policy procedures regarding working and health conditions for the personnel.

Upgrading Environmental Management System Certificate rewards the compliance of the activities and procedures of ALUMIL industrial units according to EN ISO 14001: 2004; it copes, in tandem with international criteria, the production processes with respect to environment. It is followed by top organizations worldwide. ALUMIL was already certified according to the previous version of the EN ISO 14001:1996 (since October 2002) and according to ISO 9001:2000 (since December 2003). Certification according to ELOT 1801, simply underlines clear orientation regarding issues of Health, Safety, Quality and Environment.

Co-ordination of all necessary procedures in the Kilkis establishments for the certification awards were undertaken from the Quality, Environment, Health & Safety Department. It operates since 1997, based on top European aluminium industries standards. The department is responsible for the efficient compliance of all relevant procedures and for their constant improvement.
