HELEX is included in the FTSE/MV index of listed exchanges

Stock exchanges are increasingly becoming demutualized and listed. The listing of the Deutsche Boerse was followed by that of Euronext and of the London Stock Exchange, while other exchanges worldwide are expected to follow.

FTSE and Mondo Visione have teamed up and have created the FTSE/MV index, in order to provide a tool to international investors to evaluate and compare listed exchanges. Included in this index are the Deutsche Boerse, Euronext, the Hong Kong Exchange, the London Stock Exchange, the OM in Stockholm, the Australian Exchange, the Singapore Exchange, virt-x and of course HELEX, which was a forerunner in the Hellenic capital market when its shares were floated in August 2000. Investors are internationally turning to sector investments. With the use of this index, they can now track and measure the performance of individual stock exchanges as well as of the sector as a whole.
