In the context of the explicatory directive No. 118 of the Commission of Accounting Standardization and Audits and pursuant to the announcement of the Capital Market Commission dated 24.3.2006, Lambrakis Press SA announces that, in view of the preparation of the first full set of Annual Financial Statements under IFRS, the Company deemed proper to reclassify and adjust certain amounts that refer to the Transition Balance Sheet of January 1, 2004. As a result, the Opening Balance Sheet of January 1, 2004 and the Balance Sheet of December 31, 2004 as published in the Financial Statements of December 31, 2005, are presented adjusted as compared to those included in the Interim Financial Statements published quarterly during 2005. Specifically: The Total Equity of Lambrakis Press Group as at December 31, 2003 (January 1, 2004) and, in turn, as at December 31, 2004, as described above, were decreased by 2,750,000 euros as follows:
- 450,000 euros pertaining to the complete impairment of the acquisition value of the Company's investment in EKDOSEIS 4 LTD, which is under liquidation since 2003.
- 2.300.000 euros pertaining to formation of a provision by DOL DIGITAL SA to repay the bank loan of FTEROTOS ERMIS SA that is under liquidation. Respectively, the Total Equity of Lambrakis Press SA as at December 31, 2003 (January 1, 2004) and, in turn, as at December 31, 2004, was decreased by 450,000 euros due to the complete impairment of the acquisition value of the Company's investment in EKDOSEIS 4 LTD, which is under liquidation since 2003.
A detailed reference of the adjustments is made in Note 2 (h) of the Annual Financial Statements, that are available in the Company's internet web site at www.dol.gr. Furthermore certain amounts in the financial statements of the Group and the Company for the year 2004 and in the published interim financial statements for the year 2005 have been reclassified in order to be comparable with the financial statements of 2005.
