The company ALUMINIUM OF GREECE S.A. informs the investing public that, in view of the low liquidity that the relevant market currently presents, it intends to realize purchases, in the period from August 1, 2005 until August 5, 2005, that will exceed 25% of the average daily trading volume, as such is determined pursuant to par.2 of Article 5 of the Regulation 2272/2003 of the HCMC. However, these purchases will not exceed in any case 50% of the daily trading volume.
