PC SYSTEMS (PSYST GA) (PCSr.AT), subsidiary of the POULIADIS GROUP (POUL GA) (POUr.AT), announced that it signed a contract with the Hellenic Police Headquarters of the Ministry of Public Order.

The aforesaid project concerns the procurement of PC Equipment, software and peripherals as well as installation and maintenance services for the provided equipment. The budgeted cost of the project amounts to 1.7 million Euros.

Specifically, PC SYSTEMS assumed the procurement of equipment for the institution of seven (7) Computer Educational Centers in the training centers of the Hellenic Police in Lagonissi, Maroussi, Thessaloniki, as well as the premises of the Hellenic Police Academies in Naoussa, Karditsa, Grevena and Rethymnon.

The procurement aims at the overall training in IT issues as well as issues concerning operation, support and utilization of the computers equipment which is already installed in the aforementioned police offices in Greece.

PC SYSTEMS was selected after a competition performed in January 2002 and the systems will be delivered within the following month.
