PC SYSTEMS Group presented turnover but also profit before taxes increase during the previous fiscal year.

More specifically, sales of PC SYSTEMS at Group level amounted to 60.24 mil. Euros in 2004 posting an increase of 24% versus 48.58 mil. Euros in 2003. During the previous fiscal year, PC SYSTEMS Group profitability improved with profit before taxes at consolidated level marking an increase of 73%. Particularly in 2004 profit before taxes amounted to 666 thous. Euros versus 385 thous. Euros in 2003.

Additionally, the company at parent level presented 32% increase in sales, at 49.67 mil. Euros versus 37.69 mil. Euros in 2003 and profitability by 71%, with profits of 618 thous. versus euros 360 thous. in 2003. PC SYSTEMS both at parent level and consolidated level, increased its share in the information technology achieving satisfactory growth rates despite the significant slowdown of the IT sector's growth rates and major delay in projects of the ΙΙΙ CSF in 2004.

PC SYSTEMS' profitable growth is attributed to the company's involvement in medium and large scale projects of the Private and Public Sector, the company's strong presence in the Olympic Games' projects, investments in new co-operations with construction houses as well as to the continuous advancement of its know-how. More specifically, in 2004 PC SYSTEMS further upgraded the range of services provided to its customers through major certifications like Corporate Reseller by Fujitsu Siemens, Business Partner by Red Hat regarding Linux products and services, plus certification as Microsoft Certified Business Solutions Partner regarding the promotion, disposal, development and installation of Μicrosoft Business Solutions-Navision, Microsoft's business administration software (ERP and CRM).

As far as the Olympic Projects are concerned, PC SYSTEMS during 2004 participated as a member of the Consortium for Olympic IT Projects regarding IT infrastructure of ATHENS 2004 Organization Committee, member of the SAIC Joint Venture regarding the C4I Project associated with the Olympic Games' security, as major associate of Atos Origin for ATHENS 2004 network connection. In the Public Sector the company undertook the AIS Project of the Civil Aviation Service regarding the automation of the Aeronautical Information Systems, major projects of the Ministry of Education regarding the supply, installation and equipment maintenance of 1,059 Education and Administration Units all over Greece and also wireless network connection of Education Units in Western Macedonia. During 2004, the company also undertook services reinstallation projects and also renewed numerous Technical Support Contracts of major clients such as the Athens International Airport, SITA, Novabank etc.
