On Wednesday, March 7, 2001, the Klefer production unit of automatic and semi-automatic elevator doors, a product of the collaboration between Kleemann Hellas and the Spanish firm Technolama Fermator will make its opening to the public.Klefer SA, which keeps its manufacturing units in the Industrial Area of Stavrohori - Kilkis, represents an investment of more than a 1 billion drachmas as initial capital, while both companies participate with a percentage of 50% each in its share capital.All the necessary technological feedback in order to complete the infrastructure and the making of the products has been provided by Technolama Fermator. Kleemann Hellas has been assigned the distribution part, due to its leading position in the Greek market.Klefer SA addresses global marketing, with a greater emphasis on the markets of Eastern Europe and the Balkans. Its production line is complementary to the one provided by Kleemann.The technological and financial studies, submitted to the Ministry of National Economy, in order for the investment plan to be included in the 2601/98 provision, conclude that the company will be profitable from the first year of its productive operation. Estimated profits will reach the amount of 140 million drachmas before taxes, while they will surpass the amount of 1,3 billion drachmas within the first five years of operation.
