DIOLKOS CLOSED-END FUND S.A. announced today that according to the relevant decisions of its Ordinary Shareholders? General Meeting and BoD on 23.06.2005 and 12.07.2005 respectively, carried out the following purchases of its own shares:

- On 17.10.2005, the total number of 10,440 shares were purchased via the ATHEX Member "G.A.PERVANAS S.A.", at an acquisition value of 5,190*EUR 2.03 and 5,250*EUR 2.01 per share. The total value of the said transaction amounted to EUR 21,088.20.
- On 18.10.2005, 2,040 shares were purchased via the ATHEX Member "G.A.PERVANAS S.A.",, at an acquisition value of 2,040*EUR 2.03 per share, total value of transaction: EUR 4,141.20.
- On 19.10.2005, 15,930 shares were purchased via the ATHEX Member "G.A.PERVANAS S.A.", at an acquisition value of 50*EUR 2.01 and 10,000*EUR 2.02 as well as 5,880*EUR 2.03 per share, total value of transaction: EUR 32,236.90.
- On 20.10.2005, 100 shares were bought via the ATHEX Member "G.A.PERVANAS S.A.",, at an acquisition value of 100*EUR 2.06 per share, total value of transaction: EUR 206.00.
- On 21.10.2005, 2,180 shares were purchased via the ATHEX Member "G.A.PERVANAS S.A.", at an acquisition value of 10*EUR 2.06 and 1,420*EUR 2.08 as well as 300*EUR 2.09 and 450*EUR 2.10 per share, total value of transaction: EUR 4,546.20.
