ALUMINIUM OF GREECE S.A, following its previous announcement and in accordance with the decision taken by the company's Board of Directors on 24 May 2006 in application of a General Shareholders' decision on share buy-back, taken at the annual meeting of 16 May 2006, informs investors that it intends to purchase 533,936 of its own shares maximum, during the period between 5 June 2006 and 4 September 2006, at a price ranging between 30 (highest) and 5 (lowest) Euros. The purchases will be effected through the stockbroking companies ΝΑΤΙΟΝΑL SECURITIES S.A. and EFG EUROBANK S.A.
