In accordance with Regulation of the Committee of European Community no 2273/2003, article 4, par.4, EFG Eurobank Ergasias S.A. ("the Bank") announces that according to Company Law 2190/1920, article 16, par. 5, and following the decision of the Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders of the Bank dated April 3, 2006 and the Board of Directors' resolution dated April 14, 2006, purchased own shares through the Athens Exchange Member EFG Eurobank Securities, as follows:
a) On 21 June 2006 the Bank purchased 52,063 shares, with average cost price Euro 21.82 per share and total purchase price Euro 1,135,919.75.
b) On 22 June 2006 the Bank purchased 77,339 shares, with average cost price Euro 21.81 per share and total purchase price Euro 1,687,069.93.
c) On 23 June 2006 the Bank purchased 42,500 shares, with average cost price Euro 21.51 per share and total purchase price Euro 914,170.34.
d) On 26 June 2006 the Bank purchased 63,594 shares, with average cost price Euro 20.94 per share and total purchase price Euro 1,331,693.61.
e) On 27 June 2006 the Bank purchased 37,715 shares, with average cost price Euro 20.75 per share and total purchase price Euro 782,681.79.
f) On 28 June 2006 the Bank purchased 24,500 shares, with average cost price Euro 20.75 per share and total purchase price Euro 508,397.62.
g) On 29 June 2006 the Bank purchased 7,285 shares, with average cost price Euro 21.13 per share and total purchase price Euro 153,959.44.
