In the framework of the obligations deriving from the valid decisions 5/204/2000 and 3/347/12-07-05 of the Board of Directors of the Capital Market Committee, OPAP S.A. announces to the Investors that the Company's Board of Directors decided during the meeting of the 20th of September, that Mr John Saraintaris will be appointed as the General Manager of Finance & Development as of the 1st of October 2006.Mr Saraintaris has been the Director of the German Branch of National Bank of Greece in Frankfurt for the past two years. Furthermore he has been a Management Consultant of Hellenic Petroleum (EL.PE. S.A.) as well as an Executive Officer of Citibank N.A. in Athens for a long period of time.He is a graduate of Athens University of Economics and Commercial Sciences (ASOEE) and has been awarded a postgraduate degree in Business Administration (MBA) with specialization in Finance and International Business Relations from the Northwestern University, USA.Mr Konstantinos Tsaousis, present General Manager of Finance & Development until the 30th of September 2006, will be assigned as a Special Consultant to the new Betting Division, whose scope is the full undertaking of the organization, operation and management of the company's fixed odds betting game STIHIMA.
