In reply to the ATHEX letter of 31-1-2006 in relation to media publications, Agricultural Bank of Greece would like to make known that it currently examines alternative uses of the excess capital. As soon as ATEbank takes its final decision, it will inform immediately the supervisory authorities and the investors.
