BC Partners, the major private equity fund in Europe, which controls Regency Entertainment SA [former Hyatt Regency Hotels and Tourism (Hellas) SA], is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Stephanos Theodoridis as the new Managing Director (CEO) of Regency Entertainment SA.

On October 1st, 2006 Mr. Theodoridis will replace Mr. George Galanakis, who expressed the wish to resign, following a successful twelve-year period as CEO of Hyatt Regency Hotels and Tourism (Hellas) SA. Mr. Galanakis will remain as a member of the Board of Directors of Regency Entertainment SA.

Mr. Theodoridis, is regarded as one of the most successful Greek Managers with international recognition and experience. Mr. Theodoridis comes from Diageo group, the biggest beverage company in the world, in which, for the last years, he held the position of Managing Director for South-Eastern Europe.

His task will be to maintain the high growth prospect of the company and to look after the strategic growth of Regency Entertainment SA in Greece, South-Eastern Europe and anywhere else that will be deemed appropriate.
