UNIBRAIN Returned in Profitability

During 2005 Unibrain returned in profitability according to the company's annual financial statement which is based on the International Financial Reporting Standards (I.F.R.S.) that the management of Unibrain S.A. recently announced. The main points of this statement for Unibrain S.A. are: -Increase of sales by 4.05% from Euro3,746,058.93 to Euro3,897,909.68. -Increase of operational profit before taxes, interests and depreciation (EBITDA) by 75.59% from Euro671,401.02 to Euro1,178,928.10. -Increase of profit before taxes from loss of Euro301,159.54 to profit of Euro900,745.87. -Increase of net profit after taxes and minority rights from loss of Euro354,483.34 to profit Euro420,801.68. The main points of the combined results are: -Increase of sales by 15.83% from Euro3,993,020.60 to Euro4,625,122.20. -Increase of operational profit before taxes, interests and depreciation (EBITDA) by 138.30% from Euro522,036.36 σε Euro1,243,993.30. -Increase of profit before taxes from loss of Euro266,344.16 to profit of Euro949,628.29. -Increase of net profit after taxes and minority rights from loss of Euro319,667.96 to profit of Euro469,684.10. Commenting on the results of 2005, the Vice President and CEO of the Company, Mr. George Zachopoulos pointed out that the positive results of Unibrain?s 2005 financial statement are due to: 1. The restructuring of both the mother company and of its 100% subsidiary company Unibrain Inc.- which is located in California, U.S.A. 2. The success of the product iZak with sales in Europe, United States of America and most importantly Asia. 3. The agreement with Texas Instrument for the use of Unibrain software with every 1394b chip that Texas Instruments sells internationally.
