Agricultural Insurance realized profits increased by 23.3% in the January - September nine-month period, reaching 2,761 million GRD as against 2,240 million GRD over the corresponding period last year.The company's total production increased by 14% reaching 20,410 million GRD, as compared to 17,917 million GRD, over the same nine-month period of 1999. According to the data so far, the Company's course is expected to follow the same pattern until the end of the year.Production data analysis shows that during this time frame and with the application of specific measures, an explicit improvement was achieved in the portfolio composition, the main characteristic being the reduction of the vehicle sector rate.A drop in the Company's damages and uncollectables was also attained, which is evident in the profitable results.
