ATHEXCSD, founded in 1995, is a 100% subsidiary of Hellenic Exchanges-Athens Stock Exchange S.A. and provides central securities depository services, including initial recording, central maintenance of accounts, and settlement of securities in book-entry form.

In addition, the Company engages in other activities, such as:
 

• shareholders' registers and/or electronic shareholders' registers, registers of unitholders/managers of exchange-traded funds or non-exchange-traded funds and of other holders of securities in book-entry form
   
• support of the processing of corporate actions, including tax operations, general meetings or meetings of bondholders and other beneficiaries, and relevant information services
   
• tax collection and remittance
   
• management of collateral and other security interests, such as management of pledges or usufructs and registration of compulsory attachments
   
• linking to other central securities depositories and market infrastructures, such as market operators and stock exchanges 

The above services are provided through the Dematerialized Securities System (DSS) in accordance with the Rulebook of ATHEXCSD and the Resolutions of the Board of Directors of the Company.
