75% Boost, in Consolidated Pre Tax Profits
Large Boost in all 1st Half 2006 Figures

A large boost is recorded in 1st half 2006 financial results, mirroring the dynamic growth of NIREUS Group.
On Group level :
- onsolidated EBITDA advanced by 55%, to euro 14,399 mil. from euro 9,304 mil. in 1st half '05
- Pre-tax profits went higher by 75% to euro 8,405 mil. versus euro 4,804 mil. for 1st Half '05
- fter tax and minority interest profits hit a remarkable 194% rise to euro16 mil. from euro74 mil. in last year's 1st Half
- Finally, Consolidated Sales were up to euro 78,226 mil. from euro 65,690 mil. making a 19% increase.

On company level :
- Sales for NIREUS S.A. (after adjusting for previous year's merging by acquisition of Feedus S.A.) rose by 19% to euro 74,766 mil. versus euro 62,700 mil. for 1st Half '05
- EBITDA rose by 56%, reaching euro 11,058 mil. from euro 7,110 mil.
- Pre-tax profits went higher to euro 7,036 mil. versus euro 4,725 mil. marking a 49% increase
- After tax profits reached euro 5,349 mil. from euro 3,053 mil., a 75% increase compared to last year's 1st Half

The above results are within the set targets as it has been announced by the Group's management, for fiscal year 2006.
