2005 Semi-annual results
INFO-QUEST presented strong financial returns during the first half of 2005 (H1 2005). The management of Info-Quest informs the investing public that the final results of the company and the Group will be published on 8 September 2005, after the completion of the Chartered Auditors' audit.
The consolidated results of Info-Quest Group for H1 2005 are the following: Turnover exceeded ?240m, while it is reckoned the EBITDA to surpass euro 16m.
On parent company level, turnover reached euro 193.5m, while EBITDA exceeded euro 15m and pre-tax profits euro 7.5m, respectively.
More specifically, the financial results of Info-Quest Group per sector are presented below:
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
The sales of the IT sector of Info-Quest amounted to ?120.5m, down by some 11% roughly compared to the previous year.
Q-TELECOM
In H1 2005, the total revenues of Q-Telecom surpassed euro 70m, increasing by more than 50% compared to the first half of 2004.
EBITDA almost doubled compared to 2004, as they surpassed euro 12m, while pre-tax profits exceeded euro 5m.
Also, the clientele of Q-Telecom on 30/06/2005 reached 854,436 subscriptions of mobile telephony services and 71,896 subscription of fixed-telephony services. Also, during H1 2005, the net subscriptions on mobile telephony services reached 133,730. Furthermore, the average monthly revenue per unit (ARPU) on mobile telephony during the period 01/01/2005-31/06/2005 was 13.7, the average monthly speech time per unit (AMOU) amounted to 48 cents, while the average monthly number of SMS (ANSMS) was 59. Q-Telecoms aims at 1,000,000 subscriptions of mobile telephony by the end of 2005 and annual revenues of over euro 150m.
ACS COURIER
In H1 2005 the sales of ACS COURIER amounted to euro 32m approximately versus ?29m in the corresponding period of 2004.
EBITDA reached almost 1m compared to losses of euro 5.7m in 2004, while pre-tax profits approach euro 0.4m against losses of euro 6.6m in 2004.
EXTRAORDINARY ITEMS
The results of the parent company, include extraordinary profits of euro 2.3m approximately that were paid by the Liquidating Trust, after the initial liquidation of the US company "AremisSoft" to all the beneficiaries of the bankrupt estate. Info-Quest has received besides cash, 4,050,659 shares of the US company SoftBrands.
