The financial results of ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI TEB AE and AKTOR S.A., for the third quarter of 2002 continue to reflect impressive growth rates, proving the potential and also the undisputed dominant position of the group in the Greek Construction sector.

AKTOR'S profit before tax reached euro 90 mn compared to euro 30.75 mn in the respective period of 2001 (192.68% increase). Turnover also rose by 201.04% to euro 519,93 mn compared to euro 172.71 mn. It must be noted that these results include the contribution of the construction sectors which have been transferred from ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI and TEB to AKTOR.

The consolidated profit before tax of ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI TEB AE, reached euro 95.89 mn compared to euro 52.20 mn in the respective period of 2001 (83.70% increase) and after deducting minority rights, reached euro 73.87 mn compared to euro 35.15 mn (110.16% increase). The consolidated turnover rose to euro 522.24 mn compared to euro 409.64 mn in the respective period of 2001 (27.49% increase).

ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI TEB AE non consolidated turnover reached euro 6.23 mn while corresponding profits reached euro 15.19 mn. These results can not be compared to the results of the respective period of 2001, due to the transfer of the construction sector of ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI to AKTOR.

According to management expectations the trend presented by the quarterly results will continue for the entire year.
