3^rd INTERNATIONAL CAPITAL MARKETS' CONFERENCE

11 October 2005 - Hellenic Exchanges (HELEX) Group of companies organizes for the 3rd consecutive year, the annual International Capital Markets Conference at Hyatt Regency Hotel, Thessaloniki from October 14th to 16th, 2005.

The conference is organized as part of HELEX?s effort towards increased cooperation in the region by bringing closer the neighboring Securities Exchanges and emphasizing to the presentation of the Capital Markets of participating countries, as well as the know-how offered by foreign firms.

The conference will be honored by the presence of the Minister of Finance and Economics of the Hellenic Republic, Mr. George Alogoskoufis, who will be the keynote speaker at the Gala Dinner on Friday October 14th 2005.

Top level managers of the exchanges and the capital markets commissions from Bulgaria, Romania, Cyprus, Egypt, Serbia and FYROM will have the opportunity to exchange thoughts and to cooperate with prestigious foreign firms such as Citigroup, HSBC, BNP Paribas, Standard & Poors, FTSE, STOXX and Dow Jones Indexes. The central speaker will be Mr. Gregor Pozniak, Deputy General Secretary of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE).

Among the speakers are: Mr. Akis Kleanthous, President of the Cyprus Stock Exchange; Mr. Stere Farmache, CEO of the Bucharest Stock Exchange; Mr. Apostol Apostolov, President of the Bulgarian Capital Markets Commission; Mr. Georgi Draichev, CEO of the Bulgaria Stock Exchange; Mr. Dorde Jovanovic, Member of the BoD of the Serbian Capital Markets Commission; and Mrs. Elena Jakimovska Petrovska, CEO of the FYROM Stock Exchange.
