9 Month 2006 Results

Α dynamic growth of its financial results during the first nine months of the current year 2006 has been achieved by IASO Group Of Companies. At group level, revenues reached the amount of Euro 105.769 mil. Vs. Euro 84.994 mil of the same period in 2005, showing an increase of 24.4%, while earnings before interest taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) reached the amount of Euro 23.777 mil. Vs. Euro 14.218 mil of the same period in 2005, showing an increase of 67.2%. The group s earnings before taxes amounted to Euro 16.419 mil. Vs. Euro 5.956 mil of the same period in 2005, representing an increase of 175.7%, while earnings after taxes and minority interests amounted to Euro 10.372 mil. Vs. Euro 3.976 mil. of the same period in 2005, increasing by 160.9%. Regarding the parent Company s figures, revenues amounted to Euro 65.606 mil. Vs. Euro 55.963 mil. of the same period in 2005, increasing by of 17.2 %, while earnings before interest taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) reached Euro 22.842 mil. Vs. Euro 17.368 mil of the same period in 2005, showing an increase of 31.5%. Earnings before taxes amounted to Euro 20.267 mil. Vs. Euro 14.366 mil. of the same period in 2005, increasing by 41.1%, while earnings after taxes and minority interests amounted to Euro 14.357 mil. Vs. Euro 9.742 mil of the same period in 2005, increasing by 47.4%.
The achievement of the above results is mainly attributed to:
- The revenues increase of the parent Company, as a result of the rise in the inpatients and outpatients inflow.
- The improvement of results of the subsidiary IASO General, which has already been established as one of the country s most well equipped general clinics, with medical and nursing personnel of high professional caliber. The supply of high level health services by Iaso General has been well perceived and recognized by the market; as a result thereof the company is experiencing a significant growth in admissions and in occupancy rate.
- The IASO Group s activation in the field of stem cells collection, processing and storage through its subsidiary MEDSTEM Services S.A. The Company operates the most highly scientifically and technologically equipped bank/unit of cord blood in Greece and the only private bank/unit that stores all the implants into its laboratories. It operates under the guidelines and control of one of the largest banks of America, Cryobanks International.
