The basic financial figures of the construction company Pantechniki S.A. during the 9-month period of the present accounting year increased; the consolidated turnover shows an increase by 43.3% and the profit before tax is over double in comparison with the respective last-year figures (increase by 148.7%). Based on the International Accounting Standards, the Group of Pantechniki S.A. recorded for the period of January September of the present accounting year a turnover of 123.94 million euros compared to 86.47 million euros in the respective 9-month period in 2005. The consolidated profit before tax increased to 13.35 million euros compared to 5.37 million euros, and the net after tax and minority interests profit amounted to 7.94 million euros, an amount almost triple than the respective amount of last year s 9-month period (2.2 million euros). A substantial improvement was also recorded in the Group s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA), which increased by 48.8% and amounted to 7.65 million euros compared to 5.14 million euros.
On parent company level, the turnover increased by 64.3%, amounting to 103.85 million euros, while the profit before tax decreased by 52.5% (to 1.68 million euros). During the 9-month period, the earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of Pantechniki S.A. increased by 13.3%, amounting to 6.34 million euros compared to 5.59 million euros. Moreover, it should be noted that at the end of September 2006 the parent company and Group''s cash appear increased. More specifically, the cash on parent company level was 4.63 million euros (3.36 million euros last year) and on a consolidated basis 15.2 million euros compared to 12.65 million euros last year.
