9M of 2003 financial figures of ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI TEB AE and AKTOR SA

The financial figures of the companies ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI TEB and AKTOR in the 9M of 2003 appear increased compared to the respective 2002 period.

According to the financial statements, the financial results appear as follows:

Consolidated profit before tax of ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI TEB rose to 115.66 million euros compared to 95.89 million euros in the 9M of 2002, increased by 20.62%. After subtracting minority rights, the results rose to 84.32 million euros compared to 73.87 million euros in 2002, increased by 14.16%. Consolidated turnover rose to 713.36 million euros compared to 522.24 million euros in the 9M of 2002, increased by 36.60%.

As regards the pre-consolidation figures of ELLINIKI TECHNODOMIKI TEB these appear as follows: turnover rose to ?8.60 million compared to 6.23 million euros, increased by 38.06%, and profit before tax rose to 44.34 million euros compared to 15.19 million euros, increased by 191.98%.

The consolidated turnover of AKTOR rose to 717.37 million euros, profit before tax to 105.29 million euros, and after subtracting minority rights, to 104.78 million euros.

The turnover of AKTOR rose to 671.07 million euros, compared to 519.93 million euros in the 9M of 2002, increased by 29.07%. The company's profit before tax rose to 103.01 million euros, compared to 89.96 million euros the previous year, increased by 14.51%.

As regards REDS (former KAMBAS) the company's turnover rose to 17.31 million euros. The company also showed a profit before tax of 1,035.95 thousand euros in the 9M of the year, compared to a loss of 377.83 thousand euros in 2002. The company's consolidated turnover rose to 2.60 million euros, compared to 333.69 thousand euros in the 9M of 2002, and the consolidated loss rose to 1,716.40 thousand euros for the 9M of 2003, compared to a loss of 1,229.03 thousand euros in the respective 2002 period. After subtracting minority rights losses ro se to 1,852.34 thousand euros, compared to losses of 1,344.70 thousand euros in 2002.
