Athens, Greece. ALAPIS S.A. (hereinafter the "Company"), announces that today the Company filed an application to be considered for the recovery process, in accordance with the provisions of Article 99 of Law 3588/2007 as these were amended under Article 12 of Law 4013/2011.

Taking into consideration that the Company is already in discussions with its major creditor banks and other creditors, this action aims to enable the Company to reach an agreement and put in force within a short time period a plan for the Company's direct recovery and further growth.
