Alumil Milonas s.a. was rewarded yesterday afternoon, June 22nd from the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (www.ebea.gr) for the third time.

The Exporting Activity Award, an exceptional distinction for Hellenic companies, was granted to Mr. George Milonas, Alumil President and CEO from the Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs Mr. George Alogoskoufis. Alumil CEO briefly commented on the significant importance of the ACCI ceremony and the award for Alumil Group, underlined the location of the main industrial complex in Greece (Kilkis) and on all the additional difficulties Hellenic enterprises situated away from the capital are facing on their way to international distinction.

Awarding Committee ? consisting of prominent personalities from the Industrial, Commercial and Academic world ? rewarded Alumil?s impressive growth. Particularly, international sales absolute figures (? 66.3 m. approximately), exports growth the last three years (80% growth from 2001 - 2003), new markets penetration (Alumil products can be found in 45 countries in 4 continents), international sales as a percentage of the total turnover (from 40% in 2000 to 50% in 2003), competition size in international market and various parameters.
