Mr. Lefteris Hiliadakis assumes the duties of the Managing Director in Egnatia Bank, while Mr. Vassilis Keltsopoulos assumes the duties of Advisor to the Management and Member of the Strategic Planning Committee in Marfin Financial Group. Mr. Keltsopoulos assumed the duties of Managing Director and General Manager of Egnatia Bank in December 1995. Over his 10 year administration Egnatia Bank turned in profit, bought out the Bank of Central Greece, became listed in the Athens Exchange, developed one of the most modern Information Technology systems and modernized all infrastructures. Mr. Hiliadakis, one of the most experienced and prominent bank executives, has been a Director in the Chase Manhattan Bank and General Manager in HSBC Greece for more than twenty years. In 2005 he assumed the duties of Managing Director in Marfin Financial Group. Mr. Hiliadakis, under the priority to accelerate development in Egnatia Bank, will have the responsibility to prepare and monitor the legal and operational merger of the Banks of the Marfin Financial Group, that will form part to this merger.
