SIDENOR SA announces that on 1/6/2006 its subsidiary by 100% ELMONTE HOLDINGS Ltd. has purchased 6.650.000 shares of the company CORINTH PIPEWORKS S.A. As a consequence ELMONTE HOLDINGS has increased its participation to CORINTH PIPEWORKS from 76.85% to 82.21%.
