In compliance with the provisions of article 2, para 2(e) of the HCMC decision No.3/347/12.07.2005, the Company announces to the investors that upon resolution of the Board Meeting held on 13rd July 2006/Minutes No. 3113, Mr. Albert Corcos has resigned from the position of the Managing Director, valid as of 1st August 2006, due to the assumption of new duties in Lafarge South Africa. Mr. Albert Corcos maintains the position of the non-executive member of the Board of Directors of the Company. The Board of Directors appointed Mr. Saad Sebbar, presently General Manager Cement Operations of HERACLES General Cement Company, S.A., as the new Managing Director valid as of 1st August 2006.
