Further to previous announcement, "EMPORIKI BANK OF GREECE S.A.", as Societe Anonyme, listed in the Athens Stoch Exchange, announces that - according to Article 10, par. 1 of the Law 3340/2005, as well as the article 2, par. 2 of the Decision No 3/347/12.07.05, issued by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission -, in the 28th of November 2006, purchased the participation of its subsidiary "PHOENIX METROLIFE COMMERCIAL HELLENIC INSURANCE COMPANY S.A." in the also subsidiary company "EMPORIKI REAL ESTATE S.A.", which ιs a percentage of 34,40% (equivalent of 10.094.000 shares).
