In accordance with the provision of article 2, para. 2 (e) of the resolution no. 3/347/12.7.2005 of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, Piraeus Bank SA notifies the resolutions adopted by its Board of Directors, at its meeting held on October 18, 2006:
1. Mr. Georgios Provopoulos was elected new member of the Board of Directors, in substitution of the resigned member Mr. Dimitrios-Thomas Symeonidis.
2. Mr. Georgios Alexandridis, a non-executive member to date, was elected new independent non-executive member of the Board in the stead of Mr. Symeonidis.
The above resolutions shall be submitted for ratification, according to the law, at the next General Meeting of shareholders of the Bank.
3. The Board of Directors was reconstituted as a body, and designated its executive and non-executive members, in accordance with Law 3016/2002, as follows:
