With regard to newspaper articles, ATEbank informs of the following:
ATEbank is not considering at the current period to liquidate its participations in ATE Insurance, FBBank and HDFS. ATEbank will inform the regulatory authorities in time of any such intention, either regarding the above-mentioned companies or any other non-core participations. The strategy of ATEbank regarding expansion in the Balkans, the Black Sea and the East Mediterranean regions has already been made known to the regulatory authorities and the investors. ATEbank is not in a position to confirm or deny a probable further placement of its shares by the Greek State.
