Announcement
INTRALOT USA has signed the contract for the provision of the new on-line gaming system of the Idaho Lottery. The contract is for seven years with an option to extend for up to three years. Total revenue from the contract, including extensions and options, will be approximately 30 million dollars. The conversion to the new system will commence February 19, 2007.
INTRALOT will supply the new IBM-AIX based LOTOS integrated system, along with up to 1.200 CORONIS terminals as well as Pass Through services for up to 300 concurrent instant games including validations, activations, settlements and reporting. Peripheral devices will include high volume printer, LCD Player Transaction Displays, a 12'' Starlite display and a 15'' Player Advertising Display. A state-of-the-art satellite communications network will be utilized to link retailer terminals to the central system. The new system will allow the Lottery to expand operations from 22 hours per day to 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, including all holidays.
INTRALOT's "aggressive" sales' policy in the US market is fully justified by this new contract, that follows on the heels of INTRALOT's already successful projects of the Montana and Nebraska Lotteries. INTRALOT commits itself to delivering significant value to the Idaho Lottery, in order to attract new players, increase the participation of existing players and maximize its revenues.
